Affiliate Disclosure

Some links and discount codes on AlexStew earn me a commission when you make a qualifying purchase. That income helps support the work behind the site.

How affiliate links work

An affiliate link or code lets a retailer attribute a purchase to AlexStew. The retailer then pays commission according to its programme terms.

Any discount and its conditions should be explained alongside the offer. Check the retailer’s final price before buying.

How you’ll recognise advertising

Affiliate promotions should carry a clear Ad label and an explanation of the commission relationship where you encounter them.

For example: “Ad: I earn commission on qualifying purchases through this link.”

An article devoted entirely to affiliate promotion should also be identified as advertising before you open it.

What this means for recommendations

I consider the evidence, product details and practical usefulness when discussing a product. Affiliate relationships do not determine the scientific conclusions.

Where I share personal experience, I’ll make that clear. You can read more about the assessment process in How We Compare Products.

Gifts and paid partnerships

If a brand supplies a featured product free of charge or pays for content, that relationship should be disclosed alongside the relevant content.

A gifted product, a paid partnership and an affiliate link are different arrangements. You should be able to tell which applies.
